Actualicese is the leading portal in Colombia in the generation of accounting and tax information, this portal is updated several times a day with various resources that allow to bring new, relevant and easy to understand information. The high user traffic and the need to have available a wide variety of resources motivated an evaluation of strategies for the renovation of its web platform.

We proposed an accompaniment in best practices, specifically:

• Focused on improving the performance of the news portal to support the current user concurrency, including 360° assessment of the platform at the computation and storage management level in AWS.
• Focused on the following components: web servers, database servers, load balancers, networks, among others.
